Tools You'll Need

You'll need a few different softwares to properly run these games.

Oracle VM VirtualBox - This is the virtual machine you'll use to run a Japanese version of Windows XP. Be sure to install VirtualBox Guest Additions if the download link you choose doesn't include it.

Windows XP Professional SP3 (Japanese) - This is the OS you'll use that's compatible with Odeon and Jisatsu 101.

Neko Project II - This is the emulator you'll use to run Shizuku.

Odeon・オデオン (BOKU, 2001)

"One day a girl starts to awaken to her fate. Even if that fate may be too harsh for that frail body of hers. A woman sings in the Roman-era Odeon. I personally was able to play this game with a Japanese copy of Windows XP via Oracle VM VirtualBox. Using an English copy of Windows XP with the System Locale set to Japan didn't work.

September 5 2023 update: Odeon doesn't need an XP VM to run. All it needs is a native JP locale. Thank you allllllllllllllllllllln for letting me know!

My save files may still be there, so feel free to erase them. Do not extract the .CAB files. Leave them as-is for the game to run. Enjoy.

Jisatsu no Tame no 101 no Houhou・ジサツのための１０１の方法・101 Ways to Kill Yourself (DUKE, 2001)

"Torabishi Takuji hears a noise he has come to label "grey". He doesn't know the true nature of the noise, and finally has started to lose the ability to discern between "delusion" and "reality".

"Delusion" and "reality", "life" and "death". Caught between those, he has started to seek proof that he "lives in reality".
A stepsister that hides things from her brother. An energetic childhood friend. A beautiful girl with a coolness in opposition to her cute appearance. A mysterious classmate with an conduct soaked of the occult. A beautiful female teacher that lavishes her adult charm. A male student of whom several dark rumors talk about... Also, I ran into an issue with the audio. The music files don't play during the game and I wasn't able to fix them. The game is still up for download if you want the files, but the music isn't working. If you'd still like the full experience, you can watch playthroughs in Japanese [here], or in English [here].

"Yukito Minakami is awakened by his childhood friend Kotomi for school, but when they arrive there, they find that a female classmate jumped off the roof of the school the day before. Surprisingly this is the only denpage that works on Windows 10. I still play it on a WindowsXP VM just for fun :)

This game isn't technically denpa, but it explores themes of madness and depression. It also works on Windows 10 (though I play it on a WindowsXP VM just for fun ^_^)

Shizuku・雫 (Leaf, 1996)

"When one of his classmates suddenly goes mad in the middle of the class, the protagonist's uncle, one of the teachers in the school asks him to investigate this matter after school.
